Man receives possible lengthy prison sentence on meth charge

ESCANABA — An Escanaba man who was one of three people arrested on meth charges last year is off to prison.

Jesse Allen King, 24, received a sentence of 2 1/2 to 20 years in prison on one count of delivery and/or manufacture of meth. On October 2nd, 2016, officers with Escanaba Public Safety were dispatched to conduct a welfare check in the two hundred block of N. 12th Street, where they found a meth lab.

King originally faced two felony drug charges. One of those charges was dropped as a result of a plea agreement he entered back in December.
