Man collapses, dies while skiing
DELTA COUNTY — A Wilson man is dead after a ski trip Sunday afternoon.
Deputies with the Delta County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Days River Ski Trail 2:00 p.m. for a man down not breathing. The man, identified as James Cousineau, 68 of Wilson, was skiing when
he suddenly collapsed.
CPR was started immediately but ended unsuccessfully. Deputies were assisted by the Michigan State Police, Rampart, Delta County SO snowmobile patrol, Delta County Search and Rescue, Ensign Township Fire, Brampton Fire and Valley Med Flight.
