IRON MOUNTAIN — Two vehicle personal injury accident after driver failed to stop at red light.

The Iron Mountain Fire and Police Departments were dispatched to the intersection of US-2 and Ridgeview around 8:30 A.M. on Friday morning. The driver, a 21-year old male of Kingsford was heading eastbound on US-2 when he failed to stop at a red light.

While driving through the intersection, the vehicle struck another vehicle that was pulling on to US-2. This passenger was a 44-year old female of Iron Mountain. Both drivers were transported by ambulance to the Dickinson County Hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The male driver was cited for the red light violation. Iron Mountain Fire, Iron Mountain Police Department, and Integrity Care EMS all assisted on the scene.
